Orders
What's my order status?
All orders are sent via Royal Mail 48 hour tracked and signed. This means you'll receive an email and text from Royal Mail with your tracking details and number.
You'll also receive an email notification from BAO once your order has been dispatched.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You can cancel your order before it has been dispatched by emailing BAO straight away, then the refund will be processed process the refund.
If your order has been dispatched and you want to cancel it. You will have to wait for it to arrive, then post it back to BAO with proof of postage.
BAO Skincare does not pay for the return postage and the postage will be deducted from your order amount.
My payment has been declined, what can I do?
Please contact BAO via email hello@baoskincare.co.uk straight away.
What types of payment + currencies do you accept?
BAO Skincare accepts all debit and credit cards and uses the payment system Stripe.
Why isn't my promo code working?
Please make sure you're using it properly, and that your basket has the correct number of products in it.

Can I use multiple promo codes?
No. All codes are to be used one at a time and one per person unless it states otherwise.
With discount codes and free gifts, bundles, duos and already discounted sets are not included in the total spend. The total spend only includes full-priced items.

Who is the founder?
Beth is the founder of BAO Skincare. Did you know that she has over 15 years in the natural beauty industry and has been formulating and making natural skincare since 2012?
What is natural skincare?
Natural skincare means products that are mindfully and honestly created and produced without the use of any ingredients that are harsh and damaging to the skin.
Natural products should be made from ethically-sourced ingredients with the health of the customer at the forefront and the preservation of the environment in mind.
What's BAO's commitment to sustainability?
At BAO we don’t believe in filling our products with nasty chemicals that are not only harmful to your skin but the planet.
By ditching your mass-produced bathroom staples and swapping them for safe, environmentally friendly products like BAO, making the difference is as easy as washing your hands.

Do you offer free samples?
Yes! With every order over £20 BAO pop in a free 5ml sample, if you have a specific product you’d like to try let me know in the notes when ordering.
Free samples are not included with orders that have been discounted or contain a free gift.
Where are your products made?
All of the BAO Skincare products are made in Dorset.
How do I dispose of the packaging?
Everything in the BAO Skincare collection can be recycled, with the exception of the pumps.
Which is all the more reason to reuse your bottles and pumps!
Is BAO Skincare vegan + cruelty-free?
BAO Skincare is proudly registered 100% vegan and cruelty-free by The Vegan Society
Product Information
What skin-types is BAO suitable for?
They were created with hyper sensitive-skin in mind, however they actually suit all skin-types and concerns.
What is the shelf life of your products?
The balms, salts, body scrub, face and body oils do not contain any preservative as they do not contain water. These have a shelf life of around 18 months.
The creams and washes contain water, so they have an eco preservative added. But don’t worry, it doesn’t contain any harsh chemicals and damage your skin. The washes have a 30 month shelf life and the creams 24 months.
How should I store my products?
They are best kept in a cool, dry place away from bright light and heat. As BAO Skincare is made from plant ingredients and essential oils, the powerful antioxidants can be affected if they are exposed to direct sunlight or get too warm.
Sometimes you may notice the creams in the glass bottles may change colour slightly. This is totally normal as sometimes the vitamin E can oxide with light, but the quality and scent will still remain in tact.
I have allergies. Can I review a list of ingredients in each product?
All of the ingredients are listed in full on both the packaging and product pages and you can read more on what the ingredients actually are here.
Do your products contain artificial fragrances?
Absolutely not! These are nasty and can cause irritation on the skin.
BAO products are scented with pure essential oils only.
Why do your products smell so good?
This is because they contain the beautiful aromas of pure essential oils.
The scents have been carefully selected to suit the products in which they are in, meaning they will either uplift, calm or balance your skin and mind whilst using them.
Are your products safe to use while pregnant/breastfeeding?
BAO Skincare is safe to use during and after pregnancy.
Although there isn’t any scientific proof, lavender oil is best avoided in the first trimester, so please steer clear of Healing Body Oil, Healing Bath Salts and Restorative Beauty Oil during this time.
Do your products contain SPF?
Currently not, so please make sure your last skincare step is applying SPF.
Shipping + Handling
Do you offer free postage?
Yes, there is free 48hr tracked postage with Royal Mail on orders over £40 across the UK.
How soon can I expect my order?
Orders are posted using 48 hour Tracked Royal Mail so you should receive them 2 working days after your order has been dispatched.
Please be patient though if they take longer, as some delivery delays are to expected.
I haven't received my order, what do I do?
Unfortunately Royal Mail can have some delays, which are out of BAO's control.
Please wait up to 7 working days, then if you haven't received it please email hello@baoskincare.co.uk
Returns + Exchanges
What's your return's policy?
An order can be cancelled and refunded in full to the card used, if it has not been fulfilled and dispatched.
If you receive a product and have issues, please email hello@baoskincare.co.uk within 24 hours of receiving it with photos, order number and information about your concerns so it can be resolved for you.
BAO Skincare will cover postage costs for returns and exchanges that are the fault of the brand, but BAO doesn't accept responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to BAO Skincare.
Your happiness is our main priority so BAO Skincare offers a "Skin Happiness Guarantee". This means, if you use your products and have a reaction or they just don't suit your skin BAO Skincare will refund you in full, minus postage costs.
My order was damaged in transit, what do I do?
If a product arrives damaged please email a photo to hello@baoskincare.co.uk and we'll work to resolve the issue immediately.
How long does it take for a return to process?
The return will be processed straight away, then depending on the individual case it can take anywhere from 3-5 working days.
